What the first month looks like
  1. Week 1Posture, strike, two notes. You leave with one motif that actually sounds good.
  2. Week 2Rhythm in your hands — a simple ostinato and your first improvisation.
  3. Week 3Scale and transitions. You learn to listen to the instrument instead of counting.
  4. Week 4Two pieces end to end. We record on a phone so you hear the difference.
